The Vernonia School District is nestled in the beautiful Nehalem Valley just 45 minutes west of Portland. The district serves about 578 PK-12 students across two campuses. Mist Elementary School is located 15 miles north of Vernonia and contains two classrooms for students K-5. The Vernonia K-12 Campus houses Vernonia High School, Vernonia Middle School, Vernonia Elementary School, as well as the Vernonia Family Academy.

Required Qualifications:
-Oregon superintendent license or the ability to obtain one
-Collaborative, transparent leadership style
-Knowledge/experience with rural education
Preferred Qualifications:
-Superintendent Experience
-Career and Technical Education (CTE) background or experience
-Special Education (SPED) background or experience
-Bilingual skills
